London Symphonia plays on!

Like all of the best secrets, this has not been easy to keep under wraps! After months of discussion, and consulting with the London community, London Symphonia is our new name. Hooray! We have a new website as well:

Stay connected as we continue this exciting transition. Both websites will stay active for the time being as these changes are made.

A New Orchestra Name for the New Year

#WePlayOn will be starting the New Year with a new identity.

After months of creative thinking, surveys and consultation, the musicians and the Board of #WePlayOn have finally selected a new name for the orchestra. With a mix of appreciation and respect for how the name #WePlayOn encapsulated our efforts to keep professional orchestral music alive in London, we are ready to move into 2017 with a new look and a brand new name.

Our new logo is ready to go … but we’ve decided that we’re going to let the excitement build just a little while longer. We will launch our new identity at our January 20th concert titled Brave New World. We invite our loyal supporters who have cheered us on to join us in this celebration of live orchestral music. The concert will be held at Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington St, London.

For two years, a group of musicians has stubbornly committed itself to playing on. We are very excited for what lies ahead. Thank you to all who have believed in us.
